I was thinking of re-installing the air box, and using it as a safe, hand gun storage, etc. Or maybe a secondary battery placement, or air compressor for the air lift system. Thinking I am going to fab (or have fabbed) a bracket for a biometric gun vault to mount in the air box.

What have y'all done with yours? Any better ideas?
Many just leave it empty. A few put the stock air box back with no hoses attached and a few are considering a secondary battery.
Choice is yours

Thanks I really Like the finished product too! 200 bucks is what it cost me to get it done but not bad for 4 hours of my buddies time! He free handed the mopar just by looking at a Pic which was pretty impressive to see done! Yeah the Vararam is pretty slick, looking forward to other peoples finished products ! If any one is looking to get something like this done to theirs or something else, send me a PM and I can point you in the right direction!

So some of you have been running these a couple of months now. Are you happy with it?

For those who removed your fan shroud is you engine temp up ?

I am about to get in on Jeremiah's group buy and was hoping for some feeback.

Thanks !

I personally like mine although I do miss the sound of the conventional cai. I haven't noticed any over heating issues but I did install a 180° tstat around the same time and its been cold here as well ! I would recommend it to any any one . Great product and personally think it adds to look of the engine bay. Looking forward to your feedback when you get yours

Its much quite if not quite in general.
But would you rather have sound or performance?

If you need pricing, we have a GB going on as I'm sure you already know

Thanks Fast. Do you have exhaust mods also ? Is it neccesary with this mod ? I have been looking at the Y pipe and maybe an 18" Magnaflow but the last time I did that it was on an Avalanche and it robbed some of my low end power which I prefer to mid/ high improvement with the free flowing exhaust

Hi 13RT, yes we do
Many here including myself run the magnaflow Y and some sort of magnaflow exhaust.
I'll send you a PM to avoid cluttering this thread.
But I'll take care of you.

Like 'fast' was saying its quite a bit quieter but performance over the throaty sound of other cai is way worth it I would recommend an exhaust mod too! I am running a full MBRP cat back and love the way it sounds and performs 'fast' is very informative and has helped me with quite a bit in the past ! Thanks fast !!

As i stated in earlier postI am concerned about opening up the exhaust, losing too much back pressure and as a result losing low end power. Has this happened with your set up
