Default 4.7 Rebuild ?

I have the engine tore to bits in my garage currently and have a few questions.
1. Can I use an intake from an 03 and above on my 02? I read that in 03 that all 4.7s recieved the same intake. I would do a 08 but the added cost of the adapter is more than I want to spend.

2. I read in the manual that the rod bolts are torque to yield however I can not find them in the aftermarket. Are people reusing them?

3. Are there any other mods I need to preform while with it this far down maybe oiling or cooling?

Here is a little background on this project. I purchased the truck running rough from a friend, found no compression on #2, pulled engine found valve seat pieces inside the intake and the piston/head badly damaged. I already have a new head, HO cams, and it will be rebuilt with HO pistons as well.

Checked the site but didn't see them. I will call the dealer tomorrow as I have also found out that the mains are TTY as well

as far as the tty bolts I would avoid reusing them at all cost. and the intake should not matter the year provided everything lines up and there are no additional sensors or adapters that you may need.

Well up and running. I went through the dealer and got the rod bolts for like $2.50 a piece. I reused the main bolts, no mention of replacement in the FSM. It went pretty smooth other than recieving two sets of RB gaskets. Going from a cummins to this 4.7 hopefully the upgrades I made will keep me happy and not wanting another diesel.
