Default steering wheel trim

like the title says i painted my center and air vents. but that silver trim on steering wheel around buttons is giving me a hard time removing any tips . thanks

I used a butter knife to pry them out, start with the edge farthest away from the center horn pad, then just work your way towards the center, there are two barb tabs holding them down under the horn pad, keep working them till they pop out. I oh yeah you should pull the horn fuses, could get pretty noisy...
