Default Brakes

Ever since the last time I went out with the truck, my brakes have been squealing like a stuffed pig. It got to the point where I was embarrased to stop, haha. Anywho, I really wanted to do some EBC stuff on the truck, but I don't want to shell out that kind of money yet. I got some performance friction pads for the front and rear and it's solved.
Pretty easy to do as well. This was the first time changing them on my own, and I must say it was a breeze. Well, except for having to use the truck jack (buddy has my floor jack) but it was easy.

Anywho, nothing big to report, just saying.

Good job! Brakes are one of the easiest do it yourself jobs and can save you alot of money. You should try adding braided stainless steel brake lines, they really firm things up nicely (the stock rubber can swell under pressure reducing fluid volume to the piston). Also EBC makes great stuff, but so does Power Stop and Hawk if your looking to save a little cash.

Cool... thanks for the input. I just wanted to see if the pad swap did it, and it did. I really wanna upgrade at some point. I will look into the braided lines, that makes total sense.

It's a stuck pig, not a stuffed pig.

A stuck pig squeals, a stuffed pig you feast on.

Yes, agree on the EBC being great.
