I have a newly acquired 2011 Longhorn 3500. I am trying to determine if this thing has a leveling kit installed. It sits REALLY high in the front and still has a BIT of a rake, but I've been staring so long now on different surfaces, I can't tell.
The tires in front (stock size) look undersized as well in the wheel well. ANYWAY, since I don't have an UN-leveled one to compare side-by-side in my driveway, maybe you guys can help.
Firstly, it has Rancho shocks on all four corners. Are these factory or aftermarket for the Longhorns? My build sheet states "Front/Rear Heavy Duty Shock Absorbers".. are these them?
Secondly, here's some pictures of the suspension.
Picture from Hell Bent Steel, their 2" level kit/spacer installed:
Here's MY current setup. Is this stock? It appears to be a spacer in there, but not as big as a gap as in the picture above.
My concern, is that when I hitch up my 29' ft trailer now with the new truck, the ass-end is going to sag. I've always had the stock rake on my previous truck, so that it levels nicely when towing, or loaded.
