Thumbs down Tires running really small??

Yesterday I parked beside a jeep which had a set of 315 M/T MTZ (35's) and they didnt look as big as my 305x70R17 (34x12.00R17) Nitto Terra Grappler. the site says mine run true at 33.98. So i went out side and put a tape to them.. this is what I got..

Front

Back

I was thinking of putting a lvling kit on my truck and running 35's since I already have "34's" on them.. but idk now...

Looks like your fronts are showing more wear than the rears, combined with the fact they are holding up much more weight, that will make them look smaller.

It depends on wear and tire pressure. Maybe the tires you have were produced on the small side. Try to measue with the weight off the back tires and see what you get.

Yes. that is a bit small for unloaded tires of that size.

It might depend on which tire you run. If clearance is tight you might get by with something like the Dick Cepek MC which runs small (just like the tires you have). But if you run somthing like a Toyo M/T or a Nitto TG you might have issues because they run a true 35" diameter.
Any way you go I think that you'l' have to trim a little to get 35's to fit with just a leveling kit.
