Default double din radio install

OK so ive learned that buying a new truck can def be a pain when you go to buy aftermarket parts anyway maybe someone can help i have a 2012 and im wanting to install a double din. I cant find the dash kit or a wiring harness adapter. Will the ones from a 2011 work? and if so where can i find them at? Thanks in advanced!

everything i needed to install my kenwood dnx 6180 double din nav unit .

http://www.ebay.com/itm/250893302443...84.m1423.l2649

very tight fit -- i used a coarse file to trim down the upper and lower plastic where the unit goes in , and just bent the inner metal opening that the unit had to go through.

the wiring is color match -- directions that came with the PAC are right on ! just put all the wires together as they show -- plug everything in and you are good to go . the instruction show the wiring for alpine system and non alpine -- so non alpine there were a few wires i did not use.

Another option is having the dash redone to fit the double din:

IMHO it's the only option that can give you a factory look for an aftermarket installation. Doing a search I came across Mike Paustian he has a business called Cosmic Creations. You can see his work on the site. It looks very good as you can see from above. I've been talking to him about a custom project and he has been very responsive. He can use you bezel or he can provide one. There are plenty of options depending on the look you want.

Disclaimer, I don't know Mike and I haven't done business with him yet (the project is still in the planning stages) but I'm pleased with what I see and his communication is very good.
