Default 98 1500 4X4 CAD problem

I'm having an issue with the CAD on my 98 1500 5.2 auto. I had just replaced the the housing and diaphragm because the old ones where rotting. Now when in 4wd (high or low) it makes a grinding noise. Everything works
(engages, disengages and light comes on) it just makes the grinding noise in
4wd. It kind of seems like the fork is pushing the collar over onto the center axle to far and it is rubbing on the axle housing, if that is even possible. If so is there a way to adjust it? Has anyone else heard of this problem or had it happen to them? Any advice would help out alot. Thanks
