Default Flo~Pro V force

I just got one V force muffler at my local exhaust shop on Friday. It is a knock off of a magnaflow 40 series muffler. I have heard that the magnaflow has a tin like sound. But I have heard them and they sound fine to me, they have a deep sound with the resonators. The shop had told me the V force was almost as good but a lot cheaper. It is made from aluminized steel instead of SS and does not have a life time warranty. I thought I would give it a try. For $200 it was done and I ended up keeping the resonator to help take the raspyness out of the sound. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it sounds, it makes the 4.7 litre sound bigger and meaner. I am happy with it so far, this will be interesting to see how long the muffler lasts.

Did you mean Flowmaster 40 series? The Magnaflows everybody on here runs are just oval shaped glasspack style mufflers. anyways, glad you are happy with it! Get us a sound clip/vid... I have to do the same with my new setup.

I was referring to where he called it a " knock off of a magnaflow 40 series muffler" Flowmaster makes the 40 series chambered mufflers. I get his point, just trying to avoid confusing someone else.

Sorry it should be flowmaster knock offs. They are getting an even deeper growl now.

I have put a couple hundred km on the truck since the new muffler an my wife finally noticed the growl. I think she wants louder exhaust on her 2010 dodge mini van. I may even put a 5.7 in her van just for fun.
