Unhappy Driver's side seatbelt latch won't latch

recently I have been having trouble getting my seat belt to latch. I have to k eep pushing it up and down before it will catch. I was hoping someone might have a solution. Is there a spring that may be stuck or does it need some lube. I have owned dodge products for a number of years and have been satisfied, however, I seem to have had my share of problems with this truck. I have less then 50K and have had a number of repairs. Just had the left wheel bearing replaced and found out I need new front brakes and rotors. Had first set replaced at 30K. I could go on and on. Would like to not have to take it to the dealership.
