I'm done
I got the Dart Rallye Turbo. It is a fun car to drive and I LOVE the new touch screen display and Navi.

If a programmer comes out to reduce the turbo lag, I will have no complaints at all about this little car.

I need to get some tint on the windows ASAP and down the road, I'd like the wheels that come on the R/T
These are pics from the dealers lot, sorry about the pole in the way

So I'm really considering the Dart Rallye. Any opinions or knowledge of the vehicle? Do you think this car is built well enough to last at least 10 years?
I test drove one a couple of months ago, and thought it was a truly awesome ride. As for longevity, I have no idea how well Fiat/Alpha Romeo builds cars these days.

I'd have one in a second if I didn't already own a Chevy Volt

Huh! I was thinking a Volt would be awesome but I couldn't really afford it for a commuter car.
The more I drive this Dart, the more I smile. It has a unique personality for sure

I love my Volt. I actually miss it right now, as the roads and weather are just too crappy right now to drive it.

last night I stopped by to check it out real quick. Aside from the legendary name they are trying to squeeze, if you look at it as it's own device, it is pretty good looking in/out!
I drove an automatic with the NA motor and it felt a bit under powered. I will have to drive the 6-speed Turbo to verify that it gains the peppiness it needs. Other than that, I think it will be a cool commuter and first car..

I hope it holds up well over the years though...... I've never been a Chrysler fan so Im still timid

Saw a car show about it today...moto trend i think..Anyways i saw a few minutes of it and they seem to like it...Didnt dig the n/a but luved the auto matic turbo...Manual tranny is not geared right based on these guys..

I dont know if its the gearing or the damn wireless throttle. I tend to think its the wireless throttle and there is a fix for it. Im just waiting to see if Dodge steps up and calibrates it for free instead of spending $200 on the aftermarket fix..

Ya, I drove a NA auto and it was horrible IMO. Granny might love it, the leather seats were crazy comfortable, but the performance was dismal.

Does yours have that flip up cushion in the passenger seat for storage? It's gimmicky to me but I think that's an awesome idea! if you don't I'll try to find pictures of it. You're absolutely right about the leather seats as well, sat in one not to long ago and wanted to bolt the seat into my truck lol So plushy and comfy

For those who think backto the days of the old Dart and it are all about "oh the ruined the name", please get over it. The Dart was an econo box back then too. it wasn't until later that performance went into it. Dodge brought back a name (like the Challenger and Charger) and built a car for the purpose of going after the small car market with a highly efficient motor and better styling than the competition and nailed it. Thanks to our Government car companies have to make a percentage of vehicles to a fuel efficiency standard. Let the Dart do what it was built for and in the mean time hope Ralph Guilles get's his way so we can see that 350HP AWD Dart that's been rumored to be track testing with a GT-R
