Default Best Lowering Kit for 2012

I was wondering what's the best lowering for a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD Single Cab? I was also wondering if shocks are an absolute must since I only have 16,000 miles on my truck. 16,000 EASY miles. lol I don't take my truck offroad or even on a dirt road. I drive it like a grandpa most of the time. haha

I used the Bell tech kit. I would use that or the mcgaughy kit.

I went bell tech and its been great so far, only issue I have noticed is its a little springy(bouncy) over uneven roads... Still comfortable, but I think the mcgaughy kit might have been a little better for ride quality...

Just my .02cents so far..

Used the McGaughey's spring kit very satisfied. Also replaced the factory shocks (they are actually Tokico's and probably very good shocks) with Bilsteins.

MCG with Bilsteins. Rides like my BMW used to. Couldn't be happier. No bounce or wheel hop over bumps. Stays planted and firm. I was amazed after installing my kit. I went with spindles and springs.

Did you change the shocks at the same time you did the drop, or did you upgrade the shocks after because of a harsh ride?
