Default Help- 97 Ram wont turn over

Hey Folks,
My son got in an accident with my Ram (5.2L gas engine) and now it won't start. Have no idea why not. He got hit in the left front corner which pushed the front of the frame to the right a little bit. The right fender is pushed back a little bit into the door. The radiator is fine and there was nothing pushed into the engine compartment on the truck. At the accident scene and since, the truck won't even turn over. Turn the key and nothing happens. Lights don't dim or anything. It ran fine before the accident. We tried to start it on a jump and got the same results, nothing. Any ideas as to what it could be?
I disconnected the battery for 10 mins to clear the computer just in case that was something. From my internet research, there is no kill switch in the dodge truck.
Insurance wants to total it and I need to get it started to try to save the truck.
Please help. Thanks.

Folks,
I'm just bumping this thread. I am desparate for an answer. I've had this truck since it was new am emotionally attached to it. If you have any ideas that I could try, please either post them or PM me. No idea is too crazy.
Thanks for helping me out.
Jeff

is it turning over at all? because if its a manual trans, it might be a green plug that is the clutch saftey switch, mine is jumped & when the jump wire pops out (4xing, rough dirt roads, bumpy stuff like that) it will stay running till i turn it off, but with the wire being out it tells the ign the clutch is not depressed. so your plug MAY have been disconnected, if so its under the dash, 2 wire plug above the clutch pedal... hope that helps... good luck to you, i know bout the whole emotional attachment to truck thing lol.

If it is automatic check the neutral safety switch or maybe the shift linkage at the transmission. Linkage might have popped off or the neutral swiitch might have moved during the accident.
