What were you looking at doing when you get out here? Any trades background?

Some people are 'particular' about some things. I can't tell you how many times I rewired my entire electrical system on the '07 to do something as simple as remove one relay.
I am currently in school right now for Non-destructive Engineering/ NDT/ Quality engineering Technician (all the same thing, just how my school sorts it). I will be doing a 1 year co-op in a year and around 80% of the job placements are out in the fields.

That sounds like a real interesting and very important job especially out there with that environment.

Now that is a nice looking cover.....and drop too. I know it's not your truck, but can I assume that's a 4/6 drop?

Damn you guys, my truck was never supposed to be another "project" as I have enough with the other vehicles, but the list of wants is growing rapidly. Why can't I just leave stuff alone?

Looking forward to seeing yours in the metal when it's ready. It's supposed to be great weather wise this weekend so you may well get some good work in

Who did you use for the exhaust if you don't mind me asking?

He's got a 2/4 drop and his is a 2wd.

As for the exhaust, I went to the minute muffler on 52nd St at 17 Ave SE. The guys there are extremely particular about placement of everything, and their welding is top notch. There was a lot of labor involved with my new setup, it's a full length true dual system with twin mufflers.

Holy crap! With the exhaust on it's starting to behave like it's supposed to. The open headers was really throwing the computer for a loop I think.

Now I just need to get my front CV shafts finished and installed, align the rear axle and pinion angle, install the gauges, and then I'll be ready. Took it for a short cruise last night around the block to get a datalog for Josh. Hopefully by the time I'm back home in 3 weeks I'll have another tune to work with, maybe start building some boost.

A new update!

No pics, sorry everybody, I'm still 900kms away from my truck at the moment; but since I will have to head down to the border next month to pick up my tonneau cover I figured I may as well make the trip worth while and picked up some more goodies.

Today's order was primarily audio based. I wanted a dual 12" under seat box for the truck and I was not impressed by the fox acoustics box, the idea of just screwing the bottom panels on did not appeal to me. Instead I went with a 1 piece Net Audio box. It's a full fiberglass bottom that's glassed right into the frame so there's no seam. He puts on a good video explaining everything.

Next I ordered my subs finally. I was set on the JL 12W6s from the start and the fox box wouldn't fit the new v3 because it was too shallow, so I had to look elsewhere... another reason I went with the net audio box. A pair of JL 12W6v3 are on their way along with some amp install gear.

Since I'm going to do a dual battery system to keep from killing my starting battery when at shows... or if I have electrical problems like I did with my last truck, I picked up a PAC battery isolator kit and a dual optima battery tray that I'll be installing in the stock battery location. It will require some modification of the original location, but I want both batteries under the hood and not relocated to the box of the truck. The tray's kind of cool, it doesn't use a bracket or strap over the top of the batteries so they're quite open, which will be nice since I'll have a lot of cabling in the area

http://optimatrays.com/viewitem.php?type=tray&id=100

And lastly I picked up a set of Crown braided brake lines from KLM Performance. They are coated in green, which I was pretty happy about. They are only the front lines since the rears require cutting and flaring of the oem rear line and they don't sell a kit to do that. I'm not worried, we have front biased brakes anyway and the hydroboost system will make a big difference in how tight the brakes are.

http://www.klmstore.com/dodge-ram-15...ake-lines.aspx

I just need to get in touch with the gentlemen at Bully's now to get a few items I want for under the tonneau cover.
