Used to get 17 mpg city/highway, but since I put on the 35s I now get 14mpg combined. Couldn't tell ya if my exhaust and cai help at all because I put them on when I only had 1000km on the truck haha, this is on 87 octane

I use 87 octane here in Maine, and I average 17 around town and 20 on highway runs. Only have K&N drop in atm for engine mods. Did not see any change with it. These are hand calculated.

On the N Cal coast and driving the 128 which is pretty bendy and undulating I get between 16 & 17.With the foot down mid 15's. On the freeway I can see the 21 mark on occasions but it usually ends up at about 19.The strange thing that is never pointed out is that road surface can make a real difference. I can be going down a slight long incline just cruising at maybe 60 65 and you know the engine is just not relaxed and the MDS won't kick in at other places going up a slight incline no problem the MDS just stays engaged.

Good point on the road surface, I have noticed that too.

Way to be observant

I think we should all buy those $69 chips that give us 70 more HP and 7 more MPG and all would be grand with the world lol

5 inch lift, 35/12.5/r16, Cai, ram air, straight pipes on 250000 mile 318. recently cleaned majority of top of the engine internals, highway I average 16. I can't claim anything spectacular city because I LOVE my exhaust haha.

another tip that is overlooked is proper tire pressure. keeping those pavement grippers aired up not only keeps paint side up, but also keeps mpgs up as well.

Before I deployed to Afghanistan I was getting about 15-17mpg in the city and 19-22mpg on the highway. Max speed I've had mine was 110mph before the governor kicked in hard.

Mine is still stock. Only mod under the engine is my billet tech catch can w/extension.

I'm jealous of all of yall. My 99 4x4 360 gets an average of 13 mpg! I don't treat it like a race car, but I occasionally open it up to pass slow people. All I've got done is a 3" cat back exhaust.
