They weld them to prevent it from happening regardless of the tire size though I'm sure it matters. Tulsa Off-Road charts seems identical with everything jp magazine is saying so I agree with it myself.
They used to put 350's in every hot rod too cause someone heard they were better.
Tulsa off road and jp is the same list. Whoever wrote that outdated uneducated list probably knows more than me, if you ignore the fact every company had quit using them in 3/4 tons by the mid 80's cause they were too weak.
