Default Remote starter

I start my truck with the remote starter and will start the truck and runs for a min or 2 and then the truck turns off, when I retry to start it using the remote the horn honks but wont start.

Assuming you have fuel. Who installed the remote starter? Perhaps the immobilizer or another component went bad. Take it back to installer or dealer if factory.

Lots of fuel and its a factory installed starter but taking it back to the dealer would cost me more than its worth no warranty left, thanks for the replies.

The only reason I am aware of them not restarting is that you have exceeded the 2 starts with the remote. In other words you can start the vehicle 2 times using the remote without having to manually start the vehicle. If you start it to get it warm and it shuts off and then start it again that is it. You now need to get in and start it manually. As far as the time it should run that is about 12 - 15 minutes. If you are getting shorter runs then the only thing I would do is have a dealer or a mechanic that services Dodges look at it. Probably a sensor problem.

Have you tried resetting the control module? I had an issue with mine once and resetting the module did the trick.
