Default 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 V10 no heat

I have a 1994 Ram 2500, V10, the engine runs great, but I can not get any heat.
1. Flushed the entire system with the thermostat removed.
2. Replaced the thermostat
3. Blower motor works as suspossed to

The engine gets hot and the dash indicator works, but I can not get any heat to the cab. I am at my ropes end any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Gary V.

Flushing is no guarantee of clearing out a stopped up core, so this could be the problem. Are the heater hoses hot and are you sure you don't have any air trapped in the system anywhere? If one of these isn't the problem, you're probably looking at a blend door problem.

Did it just stop? or did u just purchase the truck. If u just purchased it maybe someone did a ball valve mod...hell if uve owned it and it just stopped ive seen the ball valve clog up acting like its closed causing no heat.

Tivs, where is this ball valve? I was going to suggest checking to see if both heater hoses where hot. If so a possible blend door not working. I don't know if they are vacuum, but mine must be because it is all knobs no sliders.

A ball valve mod isnt factory hints the word mod but to do it u put a ball valve on ur return or supply or both to the heater core. its useful for colder ac and if the core goes out u don't have to dump gallons of coolent

Yea back in the 70s & I think early 80s. At least my 88 D250 didn't have that.
