Default Satellite Radio

I bought a 2008 Dodge Ram new from a dealer, it came with a REF type satellite radio with one year subscription to Sirius. During the free year of Sirius the radio displayed the channel and the discription of the channel such as 60's on 6. I did not renew the subscrition with Sirius until last week, now the radio only displays the channel but not the channel discription. I contacted Sirius and they told me I need to contact a Dodge dealer or ask someone who might know how the get the radio to display the channel discription. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays to all!
