Considering XD Misfits. I've noticed that most wheels are matte black. What I really want is high gloss black to match the rest of my truck. Very few choices in ALL black, there are some with 2-tone gloss black / silver painted, or gloss black / machined, or even gloss black but with a machined lip or silver rivets/bolts, etc.

How are those Nittos, either the 60's or the 65's?

So far seem to be a good tire. Mild hum on the highway but reasonable. Nice looking tread and sidewall, IMO.

AR "Trench" ... not a bad looking wheel but I don't like the styling as much as some of the newer wheels that are out. Also, they run +30 mm offset, more that my stock alloys of +19. Not gonna work with my Nitto Trail Grapplers which are 34.45 D x 12.13 W ... pretty sure that will make them rub.

Ever get these tires installed? I'm definitely considering the 65s for my truck.

Hey brother. First off, thank you for your service. I am active duty army. I bough my truck after my 2nd tour to Afghanistan (I read your build thread). Anyway, tires are not on YET, but are definitely a GO. The more people I talk to the more encouragement there is for the 65's. I was talking to a guy a couple of days ago at the local shop who has Trails on his Tundra. His truck looked fantastic - only regret was having the 60s and not 65s. But he loves them in the sand in NC (lives in Outer Banks) or the snow back home here in MI (I am in MI on recruiting but was at Bragg for 6 yrs).

SO.... one taxes come in, tires and Line-X are first and I was also considering RECON lights all the way around. I am leaning toward the tail lights and 3rd brake light for sure but the headlights are crazy $$ once you add the HID low beams ($850ish). What type of smoked housing do you have on yours?

EXPRESS.... you out there??? TIRES ARE COMING!

Good grief, I'm getting old waiting on the pics of your new 65's!

The 295/65/20 TG's are almost 1/2 inch taller than their 35 inch tire ! The 65's diameter is 35.47". Easy way to lift your truck just a little more!

Well buddy, go get them, mount them up and post some pics asap. Everyone is waiting !!!
