I have the 295/60 on mine but im 3rd gen. I had to run 1/4 spacers and im on maxed 5100s no rubbing anywhere. I love these tires, they have gotten me out of some sticky situations and the hum is not all bad.

Good to hear the positive feedback. My brother in law tried running the same tires you do on his 3G (2004) and ran into the same issue. He didn't want to run spacers so went with some BFs. He regrets it to this day - all he talks about when we talk trucks. Anyway, from what I understand is that the 4th gen spacing is different and even though it's close, with the proper vertical clearance, 295 is not an issue. My thing was if that is the case, and the truck is up 2.5", why not a 65?? Anyway, we are going to find out!

Default Mods

Mods coming around the end of this month (March):

- Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/65/20
- Line-X Bed liner
- Recon 3rd Brake Light (smoked)

I still haven't been able to swallow the cost of doing the RECON headlights (with HID lows) and taillights....

Can't wait to see them! Hope they last a while, because these tires aren't cheap! I'm sure you said somewhere earlier in this thread, but at the time I can't remember. What wheels are you putting them on? Stock?

I am waiting to see them. I was considering that size for my next set.

Yeah, going with the stock alloys. I had been back and forth on getting XDs. Also looked at some pro-comps and DT tried getting me into their brand. In the end, I'm going stock on the wheels and down the road possibly going with something aftermarket. Focus right now is tires, 3rd brake light, and bed liner.

Thanks and will do on the pics. Hopefully it is a good decision! Not as cool as having a 2013 Laramie Longhorn with all the bells and whistles though! Congrats!

Hey thanks! It won't come cheap, I assure you...if it ever gets here! Can't wait to see your tires. I've been studying tires for immediate replacement of the OE Goodyear. I think you'll be happy with your selection. I have gotta see them!
