Default 4x2 Leveling Kit?!?!?!

I have a 4x2 2012 ram 1500 and want to level it, can I use the same leveling kits as the 4x4 or does it have to be specific for a 4x2, if so who makes a good kit for the 4x2???

No you cannot use the same level kits as the 4x4's as most are either adjustable front shock/strut assemblies, or strut extensions, a few people will run the coil spacers however on a 4x4 this is not recommended.

On a 4x2 you must run front coil spacers or get lift coils (not sure where people get these but i have seen a few do it and it is a bit pricy)

There are many many manufacturers that make coil spacers for 4x2's you can check out the lines that we carry here https://discountautoperformance.com/...2b0b6616e4c1a4

additionally Ready Lift 1.75 level kit part number 66-1035 =$335.75 in stock

Performance Accessories 2" level kit part number DL222PA =$79.99 and is on special order

Daystar, and Truxxx also makes level kits for you truck however we do not carry those lines.

Thanks
Jeremiah

Ok so now that I know that I can only use a leveling kit specific to 4x2, I guess my next question is what manufacturer has the best product (quality, warranty, least amount of issues and wear and tear on stock components, and of course which kit levels the front to the back the best)?????

on the 4x2's i have owned in the past i always ran a ready lift level if raising or a full CST suspension lift, if i was lowering the truck to make it level i would go with belltech however i have not done this before i have had alot of friends and customers do it though and they have not had any issues with the belltech.

jmho

thanks
