Default 2012 Leveling Kit

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site and dodge and loving both. The 1500 hemi was a big step up from my mazda 03 haha. Love the look but want to level it off so I can put 35"x12.5"x20" Dick Cepek mud country tires on it. I have read several threads about a shake or vibration resulting from the 2.5" leveling kits and Blistiens on the 09-11 rams but I was wondering if anyone has this installed on a 2012 as dodge changed the front end on this model. Would appreciate any insight you guys and gals can offer.

I havent seen much about the 2012's. Unless dodge redesigned the front end that wobble and vibrate problem may come up. I will look through some threads and see what I can find for you.

That thread is for a 2012 6" lift kit not a leveling kit but you can read the trouble he has

http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread....=2012+leveling

Another thread but you will have to read through and find the ones for 2012's

There really just isnt much on 2012 leveling kits. I have a 2010 and have decided on saving up for a 6 inch procomp lift. Seems like a complete lift doesnt aggravate Dodges fine engineering work.

i just did the 2.5" spring leveling kit on my 2012 2500 and have absolutly no vibration or issues yet whatsoever . I personally do not like the leveling kits with just the spacers. My kit was the complete spring but i sacrificed my ride a little bit going this route

OP,

Do you have a 4x2 or a 4x4? If you have a 4x2 use a 2" coil spacer i would not recommend anything more than that, if you have a 4x4 you have many options the favorite is seems to be as bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks, the second being the a strut extension, which you can check out here lowest prices on the net. https://discountautoperformance.com/...02a0591d0cb9dc

Thanks
Jeremiah

Thanks everyone. I have the 4x4, I cant decide on what lift as of yet I have looked at all brands prices and options. IF anyone has had great sucess or failure with any of the lifts ranging from 2.5"-6" please let me know brand you have as well. Im looking to run 35" Dick Cepek Mud Country and 20" Fuel Hostage rims. I have the colour matched Bush Wacker pocket style flares installed already so i hope i dont end up with rub.

I was thinking about saving for a full lift either 4-6" but i am concerned about warranty and the angles changing from factory angles as i bought the extended warranty. Figured i could always remove the leveling kit if i ran into problems but couldnt if i started cutting and welding parts.

The Pro Comp lift comes with lowering brackets to put your driveline angles back to stock angles. But I do understand your concern about warranty. Here is the link to the kit for my truck it list what all comes with it and what the lift consist of.

I have put off lifting mine for warranty issues and lack of money. lol
