yes. The slave cylinder on many gm's is inside the bell housing basically attached to the throwout bearing. There's a hole in the side of the bell housing that has a long bleeder that sticks out that you can access. He was smart and bought a remote mount bleeder line, you can actually see it on top of the engine in the picture of the engine a couple pics up, it's a SS line coming up over the intake manifold and laying in front of the "passenger" side head. We just laid it there during install. Not sure where he ended up mounting it in the car.

He just called me though, and it's ALIVE! Started on the second crank. He said after starting it twice the battery wouldn't turn it over again though so he's getting another battery in the morning.

Actually you headed me off at the pass because I was going to suggest the feasibility of installing a remote bleeder. It's refreshing to see (read) of someone using their 6th sense. You know the one we weren't given to start with...common .

I guess I forgot to update. The car is in fact running, but his hptuners fails to communicate with the ecm so sent it to get repaired. So although it runs, it needs tuning badly(running on a stock tune) so it's very lean and he's just letting it sit in his driveway to avoid any damage. He should have it tuned sometime in the next week or couple weeks then I'll get some video.

damn that's a lot of work but I've always liked that body style of Camaro, they always make great drag cars there's just tons of performance parts available for them. Great job on the build, definitely want a video of this starting up. Props for converting to a manual as well, not sure if I could cut a hole in the tunnel to do that if I was you.
