Default Boxing day sale Final question

Ok, from what I've gathered on the site. I think this will work without rubbing.

I am about to pull the trigger on a wheel and tire combo and wanted some confirmation from the forum.

I am going to grab som M/T Classic locks 17x9 with 4.5 backspace and -12 offset. I will be throwing on some 35" X12.50/R17 Procomp Mud Terrains.

Choice of level is the Procomp SS runner shock (Bilstein 5100 equivalent).

Question 1. Does anyone run this (or similar) setup and have any issues/rubbing?

Question 2. Tires, any reason why I should go with something else? Keep in mind that they are Buy 3 get one free and 1500 bucks off on set, so about 37% off.

Thanks for all your info.

It will fit, but you may be required to mod/trim ever so slightly to get those 35" MT's to fit. They will fit, but may rub at full lock (turn)
Again, very minor trimming or bending maybe required. Nothing to discourage you though.

Honestly? I don't. Now I'd like to see this. LOL

OP, look up the member 'whiteknight'
He has a leveled ram via maxed Bilsteins and has 35" toyo MT's
They are crammed in there but with slight bend he fits them.

Ok. So ive been corrected as it makes perfect sense.

5" backspace rims especially 20x9 on 12.5" tires will fit a 4" lift. 37's to be exact.
I'm sure some trimming may be required.

@Fast,

When you say trimming and bending, what and where are your talking about?

I assume that trimmimg the plastic wheel wells up front. Could you bend it as opposed to trimming?

I appreciate the guidance.

Also, just found out that the Pro Comp Mud Terrain and their A/T are being discontinued, hence the 3 get 1 free deal at tirepackage and 4wheelparts.
