Default Intake and Tuner Options

What is out there for the 2012 4.7? I have only found 2 intakes for this model searching online (K&N, AIRAID). I also cant seem to find any Tuners available. Searched several sites but everything seems to be for the Hemi. Any info on performance parts would be greatly appreciated!

Tuning is not currently available for a 2012 4.7L.

Any intake that fits an older 4.7L will fit yours with an extra coupler. IIRC you need a 3.25" coupler. Otherwise, it's the same. I think also 3rd gen hemi intakes may fit with the coupler.

^thanks for the replies^ Looks like I may hold off on engine mods until tuning is available. Maybe a K&N drop in and call it a day.

Default no tuning...there is always tuning available.

I don't know a lot about it yet but I have just started looking into EFI controllers. I am no computer wiz but it really can't be that difficult.

I don't know what you do for a living but really when it comes down to it, I would rather make something for my truck or build something that I know(hope) will work and be less expensive then what everyone else is charging. idk....just some words for thought...

I confirmed with Bully Dog that there Tuner will work on the 2012 rams. I ordered mine today. Diablo says not yet. Anyways the can tunes on the Bully Dog are better. Should get mine in next week. Will let you know, DB says 30+ hp on the 93 tune for the 4.7l

Hopefully that's a peak number, or it's actually more. SC gains are like 63hp(max, not peak). Peak is like 20-30hp IIRC.

Either way though, still a lot of bang/buck.

This is what they sent me.

"Our tuner 40430 will work on your truck 2012 ram 1500. You can get up to 30+ more horse power on the premium setting. And it will pay for itself just in fuel economy.

Their site only lists that tuner for the HEMI.
