Default What would I need.

Tried searching for 3 days and did not find my answer. Looking at a 20 X 9 rim with a offset of +12. The tire size will be 305/55/20, OD is 33.4". What will I have to do to get these to fit with no rub. Will it fit stock, just a level in the front, or full on lift. I do not like the rake my 2011 Ram 1500 has, so I'm looking to level. If the 20 X 9 rims won't work how about a 20 X 10 rim with a -24 offset.

Level the front out and you should be just fine.
The +12 will give you the 1/4 of clearance you need to fit the 305's.
The 20x10 -24mm wheels will stick out about 2" further than the stock wheels (outter rim edge). Just for reference.

Ok. If I would go with the 20X10 -24mm offset wheel, would it fit with just a level and the tire size referenced above. How about a stock truck with no level, would they fit? Could I run the 20 x 9 +12mm on a stock truck? How much tire will be sticking out of my fenders with both set-ups?

I know I threw out a lot of questions, but I'm trying to come up with a game plan on what is needed first. I would just hate to spend the cash on tires and rims, then not be able to use them.

If you look at the pics in my profile they should give you an idea of how the wheels will fit. The wheels pictured are 20x9 -12mm offset with 35x12.5x20's.
If you go with the 20x9 +12's they will sit inward 1" (from where mine are in the pic). If you go with the 20x10 -24 they will sit out 1" further then where mine sat.
As far as tthe level kit vs no level kit? I can's say for sure because I had a 4" lift with that set-up. The 20x9 +12 ie believe will fit with a level or without, the 20x10 might be tricky.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I am understanding what is needed, just don't know which look I want. Still on fence.

If he went with a 20x10 -12 does that mean it would stick out 1/2" on both sides over stock?

This is a 2wd with a 2 inch level 305/55/20 and 20x9 wheels with a 0 offset... No rub at all

I had Xeon ltz 305/55 And the rubbed the sway bar on hard turns the level makes no difference. I leved it and I now have 20x9 +13 and still rubbed the sway bar at lock. A 0 Would be best but a plus 6 should clear. I ended up swapping for duratrac 285/60's. If you want a 305/55 just do a level with 0 offset there will be no rub and it will look great. There I'd plenty of room for a taller tire and even wider it is the wheel offset stock that makes it hit the sway bar and even a +13 Still have me rub. When I do the CST lift AMD 35x12.5's I plan on running at least a -12 or -24 next time.

If he went with that wheel he would gain 18mm of inner clearance between the suspension and wheels and the outer position of the wheel will be moved out 44mm. The overall wheel would be 1" wider (about 26mm) but the mounting surface is offset (towards the inner wheel edge) 31mm (from the stock wheel).
In order to have a wheel that does what you are asking, you would need to have the same offset as the stock wheel (+19mm). A 20x10 +19 would add 1/2" to both sides.

Thanks for explaining
