Default ABS and brake light won't turn off...

Have been googeling this topic today and found a few different scenarios, but here is what the problem is: I bought the car with the lights on, the previous owner told me it was the front right ABS sensor acting up so I checked it and could see it had been rubbing against the brake disc due to poor fitment. I bought a new one and fitted it thinking "job done", but no cigar yet. My speedo works at all speeds, the lights only come on ABOVE 15mph and stays on until I turn the engine off. Seen a few people in previous threads recommending anything from new relays to cleaning connectors. What say you? Any Idea where to start the trouble shoot? For the record I have ordered 2 new front wheel hub assembleys due to worn out wheel bearings, they have new ABS sensors fitted but until they arrive I'm driving around with no ABS. no fun in the winter period.

I had mine come on several months ago & it turned out to be the rear sensor in the differential. It was in two pieces. Had to dig out the bottom part. But you can guess all day. Take it to a shop & have them read the codes. Cheaper to pay for the diagnose than replacing parts. My speedo worked just find with the rear sensor out.

Just like he said wheel speed sensor in your rear end could have gone bad my f150 did that when I first bought it and it turned out to be just that sensor so just check it and if it is that i think its like 20 or 30 dllars to replace it
