any of those MGH built transmissions? any of them 4G Hemi's? or just your 03'
How much power to the wheels? 500 whp? any of those transmissions built with better components?

Bragging about how many transmission you killed is making you more of an expert on how to kill them than keeping them alive, specially if you didn't learn your lesson on the first one. (or two)
fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice...? but 3???

Not that it's relevant, but my first Hemi was almost 10 years ago back in 04'
before some of you kids were driving, and I Never killed the tranny in the 4 years I totally bagged on that one either

I wasn't bragging, it was more of a been there done that, and no it was all 03-08, which are pretty much the same transmissions. The just call second prime a gear now. Just chill out spanky I don't need you gettin all festered up, just trying to help some that might not have the money for the all mighty "MGH" trans

^you are correct in saying that the 545rfe and 65rfe transmissions are nearly identical.

BRH is right that 5th is also an OD gear. And the OD clutches are shared with lower gears.

You guys burning up stock transmissions, are you completely disabling torque management? You shouldn't do this on a stock trans. You can safely reduce it to where you don't notice it but not completely disable it.

I wouldn't hesitate to reduce TM with another tune on the new transmission, just don't completely get rid of it. I know a lot of guys with hemi rams and they all reduce TM and they haven't had issues. Most of my friends have intake/exhaust/tune. Typical bolt ons and such. No internal engine work. If you have that I'm not sure if it'd be good to reduce TM at all...?

If you're going to stick with a canned tune you really ought to consider superchips. Their tunes outperform every other company. Although I don't know if they have 2011+ tuning yet.

Sorry, but speaking from experience,
I gotta call BS on Pooperchips being better for a 4G 5.7L Hemi Ram

A Buddy (MGRAM-10) and I ran 3 tuners on both our 4G Hemi Rams:
Bully Dog GT, Superchips Cortex and a Diablosport Trinity in a track tested shoot out.

all canned tunes, all shift points maxed out,
We Raced three weekends in a row and Diablo was better every single time!

it was well documented complete with time slips posted on the "other" forum
I was certain my BD GT would come out on top but ate crow and I ended up buying my own DS Trinity after borrowing his, sold my Cortex and my Bully Dog GT.

I never saw a 13 second slip with any tuner but the DS Trinity, so it was a keeper.
Recently another long time superchips friend (catsltd) made the switch to Diablo and is currently at 13.5 seconds in his 4G reg cab long box Hemi (intake exhaust long-tubes and DR's)

I used to whoop him when he was running his superchips, not anymore lol
