I have an RCSB with 3.92 gears and 30" tires. Rev limiter is 6400, speed limiter is 140 and mds is off. I have my tm set at 8% WOT 1st, 2nd, 2p, 3rd, and 4th and I'm using SC part throttle up and down shift schedule. It feels like SC part throttle shift schedule ranges from 30 to 60% tm but could be wrong. Shift points are 6100 1st-2nd and 6000 2nd-3rd and I have 56k ml with 25k of that running this tune and no issues. I don't race mine as much as most so you have to take that into consideration. But I do tend to believe what BRH says about these tm settings and how weak the clutches. I fried my OD clutches and solonoid packs at around 30k or so ml. I think it was from sometimes towing in drive trying to save fuel. Thankfully it was covered under my lifetime dt warranty. I don't agree with his pooper chips comment though, lol. I Can't argue which tunner or tune is better between the two, but I can vouch for how much of a difference SC makes with my truck. I love mine and can't be without it. I don't drive my truck without a tune and I don't drive anywhere without my tuner. I get an itch and play with it at the spur of the moment sometimes.

Thanks for telling me, that sucks not being able to go over 5800 rpms ...wow. I'm sure someone will get past that mark sooner or later. Just trying to give some positive feed back on tm and SC as well.

I would try and get the specs on this tune and ask them how they' feel about this. I don't know whats causing the trans to go out, never heard of any with SC trans tune. If there is any known on here I'd like to hear it from that person. Seems to me it's only with these custom tunes. Of course most people with SC tuning are stock so you have to take that into consideration. All said, I'd hook up the tune...I say go for it!
