Default nitrous for my little 4.7

My RCSB 4.7 running 14's is due for a nitrous setup in Jan. wondering you all's opinions are. Looking to run a 100 shot. I want more but idk how much this engine can handle. Also looking for plugs. And a custom HEMIFEVER tune for the nitrous.

You should be fine with a 100 shot. I try to run 1 grade better gas= 93 when spraying, 91 octane tune. I gap my plugs a bit closer, and run 1 range colder. Brisk makes nitrous specific plugs, but I just run either Champions or NGK's in my hemi. I never spray below 2800 and only at WOT. Should knock your times down a lot. Now go whoop on some EcoBoost and Tundra owners. Expect to hear a lot of whine when they lose to a lowly 4.7 Mopar.

Hey bud! I'll try to help you out with the plugs again. It's crazy how much of a PITA it has been trying to locate proper plugs for your application.

The 4.7L is a very strong engine, I'd look at whatever the hemi guys are spraying and would think that you'd be just as safe, and probably safer doing the same. The 4.7L uses a crank girdle, not individual main caps, and also the pistons I believe do not have the thin top ring land that is the common issue for the hemi.

Oh boy, here we go again lol...

I really wish I had access to a full catalog of plugs for a given manufacturer. I'll get back to searching...

Not sure what plugs you're referring to, got a part number specifically? And this is for the exhaust or intake side?

Well this is really weird.... it looks like bosch is no longer making one of the plugs for the 2008+ 4.7L.

Stock plugs are as follows:

Uppers.......FR8TE2
Lowers.......FR8T1332

The lowers(FR8T1332) are no longer found on bosch's website.

I have to search more. Basically, I think what you're going to end up wanting is an iridium plug one heat range colder than stock for the exhaust side(make sure projection and threads are same). And then a copper plug one heat range colder than stock for the intake side(make sure projection and threads are same).

Finding out specifically what those are is a little more difficult...
