Default ever have your truck stall?

just wondering if anyone has had problems stalling there truck out. i was out playing in the snow and i stalled it out first when i slammed into a bank and second trying to get out. the second time i noticed the brake pedal was stiff all the way up. im thinking it was all the sensors going off at once. both times i was in 4low. it is just kind of embarrassing to have a new truck stall on you. its a 2011 big horn quad cab. hemi 4wd/auto 4wd and auto trans

Did you have the TCS system fully off ? Page 391 of my 2010 manual states the following:

"Full Off
This mode is intended for off-road use when ESP stability features could inhibit vehicle maneuverability due to trail conditions. This mode is entered by pressing and holding
the ESP OFF switch for five seconds when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is running. After five seconds, the “ESP/TCS Indicator Light” will illuminate and the “ESP
Off” message will appear in the odometer. Press and release the trip odometer button located on the instrument cluster to clear this message."

Not sure is this is the issue since IMO it should never stall out on you however perhaps this could provide some clues on what is going on.

i went to flip a donut once and had my truck shut off half way thru the donut. after a few seconds it would restart. but i just thought it was just maybe a fuel sloshing around.

I think slamming into a snow bank would be a bit more embarrassing than the truck stalling

My 4L auto ranger would stall in certain off road conditions when the locking 4x4 was engaged. Haven't stalles my ram, but think its possible.

not when your playing around on the ice, its quite fun. what was embarrassing is two years ago when i first got it i was climbing a steep hill in the snow trees and and ditches on both sides of the road witch was bearly wide enough for my truck and breaking loose sliding backwards at 15mph with no control. brakes wouldnt work because abs and gas would work because the trac control was on. somehow landed in the woods in the only spot the whole road that wasnt a ditch between two trees just bearly wide enough to fit my truck. needless to say it wasnt on purpose i was very lucky that day and learned my lesson. turn the trac control off

Mine does it when it's not up to temp - if you stop fast - or try to turn real quick it will sputter - rpm drops to 400 and then stalls?
