Default Tube Steps and Mud Flaps Rubbing

I installed Husky mud flaps shortly after I got my 2012 Express RCSB and installed Westin Platinum Tube Steps today. With the steps mounted toward the rear as far as possible, the edge of the support still rubs against the mud flaps in the front. I don't mind the rubbing but I'm sure it'll eventually wear a slot in the mud flaps. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sorry to hear about your problem, it's always the little things that seem to mess up an otherwise good Mod. I have the Mopar OEM mud guards and Steelcraft 4" oval nerf bars on my RCSB. There is about 3/4 inch between the bar and mud guard, no rubbing. Is it possible you can adjust your set up? Otherwise you might need to get different flaps. Good luck.

There's a little bit of adjustability toward the front and back and it's back as far as it will go.

I had to go with the full size mud flaps inside the fenderwell. I went with the drill-less installation by DuraFlap. They really keep my truck clean and chip free.
