Default What size tires do i get?

I just got a 2004 ram 1500 5.7 hemi and i dont have enough money to lift it so i was going to put a leveling kit on it with new rims and tires. I was wondering what size tires would i be able to fit without any rubbing? I was thinking 33s. Also im looking for a tire that has an aggressive tred but wont wear out fast, and i dont know what size rims to get. What would you guys recommend?

Yea you can fit a 33" tire with a leveling kit. The tires that i have used on all my trucks is the BFG All Terrain KOs. They are not too aggressive looking but they do last for a long time. I have heard that the Toyo tires hold up very well and also Nitto.

Great tire!!

I've ran:
BFG KM2 - look good, wear fast
BFG KM1 - nothing special and wore fairly quick
BFG AT - great ride but I hate the look and had horrible mud traction
PRO COMP MT - average in all areas, wore fast IMO
PRO COMP XTERRAINS - look mean as hell but wear super quick. Fantastic offroad. I've owned 2 sets on 2 different trucks.
NITTO TERRA GRAPPLERS - Thought I'd hate them but ended up loving them. Decent Offroad, lasted me 45k miles on a diesel, and smooth ride
COOPER STT - didn't run them long but liked them
TOYO MT - in my opinion one of the best tires in business. Downside is they are expensive. Great Offroad. Mean look. Last good for m/t.

For me, my favorite all terrain is NITTO terra. Favorite mud terrain is TOYO

I agree with ya. I love my toyos. The coopers were nice specially for the prices you can get them in the states. I don't even hear my 37" toyos

Personally, I would go with 33x12.50 BFG All Terrains. They last a long time and do pretty well in most terrains. But I don't know how they are in the snow. That being said, Try talking to someone near you with them to see what they say. Good luck with whatever you decide!

BFGs are decent in snow. Best in Sand, avg in snow, horrible in mud IMO
