Default Frount fender wells

First post hi to everyone ! Purchased my second only new truck in 45 years,
2012 crew cab 5.7 Hemi noticed under fender wells ahalf dollar size hole up about afoot from bottom each side, checked out several other trucks some have same holes some not ,anyone else have an issue with this ,Dealership said it was due to different bumpers

I have 2012 1500 ST Crew 4x4 and have the same thing. Crazy thing is they are not even smooth round holes. They are kind of a rough odd shape. When I first saw the one on driver side, I though the tire had picked up something and sent it through the wheel well. So I checked the passenger side and it was there too. Have not asked the dealer about it.
