Get a custom Fiberglass box made and save yourself the Test and Evaluation period that we all have gone through. This will be the best bass. The JL Audio boxes are very good as well and there is one in the sale section currently for 350 which is about half price and you won't build a box with a JL w3 in it for that price.

If you just want super loud and don't care about the SQ then the Thunderform with a few SA-10 woofers from Sundown will hurt your ears just fine, but you are looking at $800 in woofers and box.

I have one in my truck and it sounds good. It’s not going to blow the windows out but it rocks. I like tight bass and I love it. The best thing is I purchased it with subs in it off craigslist for under $150 as the same box fits from... I think 98 up so there are plenty out there used and if you don’t like it you can re-sell it. New there is probably better out there.

I just put one in this weekend from my 2005 Dodge. Fits perfect. Sounds GREAT. I too like a nice tight bass. Just tapped off the existing sub wires into a impedence matching transformer (they call it "High Level to Low Level converter").. power / ground / remote wire and done!
