Default Which dodge is a better deal?

2001 dodge ram with power everything and leather seats ...sport off road edition 4x4 with a 5.9L v8 with 142,000 miles and it gets 10 mpg. this truck is 5,000
or
2002 dodge ram base truck. 22.000 miles with chrome wheels, 4.7 v8 and a loud exhaust. but it is the base truck with cloth and no power anything. this is 3,000

so my question is which is the better deal? i dont need 4 wheel all the time but it is a big plus.
anyways thanks for your input

Me I'd go for option 2. If you are on a budget, more options equals more stuff to break. ie; transfer case, two driveshafts, etc.. Quite expensive stuff too I might add. Carfax both of them.

I'd go for option 2 also. 120K less miles and a year newer. You can always add stuff to it and mod the heck out of it!

for me, neither, 4.7 is a great engine, but only if well maintained. truck 1 might be a money pit.

Really 22,000 miles on option #2.

Also, how clean are the trucks. For a 10/11 year old truck, that would be one of my major focus points not as much the miles. If its clean you know it was taken care of, for the most part anyways.

Go with the less miles. You can add some things #1 has to #2

I don't trust old vehicle with low mileage and base models don't excite me and I'll never own another 2wd truck...I would take #1
