Default Ride quality with leveling kit

I have a super lift front leveling kit on my 03 2500, had it pit on about 8 years ago. Ride is pretty harsh and I would like to improve that. My question is what shocks or mods I can make in combination with the level up front?

I have 33 BFGs and am happy with the size and the stance, just want the ride to be better and keeping the steering in mind. Let me know what you think?

Thanks

If you are on your original shocks then they were toast years ago. I would venture to say that any new shocks are going to seriously improve your ride quality. That said, if you've got the means then going to a mono tube shock like Bilstein or Fox etc will give an even more improved ride and last for years longer than the cheap twin tube junk they install at the factory.

Thanks, Can I use the Bilstein 5100's? Confused about that, I have a 2500.

I don't know enough about Gen 3 Trucks. So, I would tell you that if your 2500 does not use coil overs then you can't use the 5100 adjustable's to level. I suspect that your truck is not on coil overs. So you'll need spacers to level. You can of course put 5100 shocks on all corners. Just not ride height adjustable's.

I installed the 5100 shocks all the way around after leveling my truck with springs in front and adding a 1" spacers in the rear and felt some improvement in the ride but the biggest improvement was after adding sulastic spring shackles in the rear getting rid of the harshness of running without a load in the bed, they are easy to install and well worth the cost.
