Default Took a shot at CF Di-Noc today - Radio Bezel

I've tried messing around with this stuff before on other projects and had a little bit laying around so I thought I would give it a shot on the truck. I wrapped my radio bezel in CF. What does everyone think?

Before:

After:

Its not perfect... Around the cubby part there's a little flaw. Overall Im happy enough to leave it on for a while. The "after" picture is actually a whole different bezel so my plan is to convert it into a double din for later projects... for now its just CF since I had it laying around.

Nice subtle change, looks good! In case people are wondering, CF Di noc is carbon fiber vinyl.

Looks good. If I would have found that stuff before I painted my dash, I may have used it instead

Thanks! Its great stuff to work with. Probably the best part is that its reversible if you change your mind. Im still not sure how I feel about the Carbon Fiber tho. I think I would prefer the brushed aluminum look...

I love the SRT interior.

Its pretty easy to work with. I'd say probably a 2 or 3 out of 10. You need a heat gun or hair dryer to really mold it. I youtubed it first just to get some idea on how to apply it.

I get it off ebay for cheap. They sell it in aluminum, CF, wood, etc. all kinds of colors too.

I'm not into the CF look but on your dash it's a nice subtle change. Gives more style without going overboard. Good job!

Thanks! I know what you mean about the CF look, I don't like too much of it. Its easy to go overboard with it.

The only thing I would suggest to anyone looking into doing this is use adhesion promoter. Use it around all the edges or anywhere there's any stress that would make it lift up. This will really help you out.
