Default DBall Xpresskit- no T-harness

Has anyone hooked up thier DBall remote start without using the T harness, and are pic's available? I tried searching for a drawing or how-to on the forum, and You tube etc... all I can find is hooking up with the t harness. From the looks of the PDF on Xpresskits web site, looks like I just have to splice into the Can Hi and Can lo, then cut the ignition wire, run it into the dball, and back out to the ignition switch?

Keep it simple brother and do yourself a favor and order the T harness. I installed mine lastnite in literally 3 minutes (5 counting zip tieing it up). Totally worth the $26!
Another reason to use the "T" is if anything goes wrong you can switch back to factory setting and avoid a possible towing charge.

The link for ebay, where I and other forum members got thier Dball from:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290722973432...84.m1423.l2649

The seller will flash it for you, I didnt realize the harness was seperate.

The part number for the T-Harness is: CHTHD1

Found on amazon, or a few other sites.

I did order the harness today, just wanted to have the remote start active for my trip to WV this weekend. I can wait I guess... just have some free time over the next few days and wanteed to tinker with it.

I just ordered my Dball and T Harness. Can someone tell me if this allows you to leave the truck running, remove the key and then lock the doors?

This is a remote start, it works by hitting the lock button on your FOB 3 times, so basically your Truck got locked 3 times and the engine is running. If your Engine is running with the FOB in the ignition, and you turn off the truck, it will turn it off, you can then if you want hit the Lock button on the FOB 3 times and it will restart the Truck. To my knowledge, it will only run the truck for about max 15min.

oh by the way, if you remote start your truck and hit the Lock button on the FOB again 3 x, it will shut the truck down.
