Default Missing radio wires???

Help! I have a 2005 ram quad cab with what appears to be the infinity sound system but I think some wires are missing. The problem is that my front door speakers don't work but I cannot find a broken wire and the speakers test good them selves. I have checked the connections at the amp and even went as far as taking it out and checking them. I removed the stock radio and reinstalled it as well. I assumed it was a problem with the radio or amp so I stared with the cheaper of the two and replaced the radio with a Sony. When I was installing the radio I notice that the connector at the back of the radio didn't seem to have wires for the front door speakers...

Is it possible that someone swapped out the radio, speakers, door panels and amp but missed the wires??? Everything is there except those wires...I'm lost. Please help. Sorry for the long post.

Rick.

As you can see from the factory wiring diagram, nothing is missing. You'll need to tie into the front speakers at the amp or run new wiring to the door speakers.

Oh, so the whole system runs off the four wires?

Yes, there are no front speaker wires coming from the head unit.

Depends on which sound system your truck came with.

I was told it came with the infinity 7 speaker system and in dash changer. Everything is there(less those wires). The passenger front door looks like it had never been apart and the amp looked like it had never been touched either.
I don't want to bypass the amp if I don't have to but I will run wires to all the speakers if it comes to it. Thanx again for your help!

Ok, I gave up on the connector and removed the stock amp...my question now is how should I run the new wires? I know the best way would be to run new wire all the way into the doors but I'd rather not drill holes in each door to do so...where is the best place to tie into the stock wiring? At the amp plug?

It's kind of pricey....but they make a interface that is specifically designed for the Infinity sound system to so that you can retain the factory amp but install an aftermarket radio.

Here's one from Crutchfield.....way over-priced (like most of Crutchfield's junk)....look around. You can find them for around $60-80.
