Default Back seat removal

Hey guys trying to remove my backseat in my 07 to try and fix a leak in exchange vents. Does anyone have a diagram of how to remove seats? I am seeing a lot of people saying 4 & 6 bolts but I count 9 or so. Also size of bolts if anyone knows?

I have found that this site is very big with a lot of traffic but not many people take the time to post a reply or help. I have an 02 and just recently bought a ram 1 month ago so I will not be of any help but I have always found that just going at it blind sometimes is the best way. Just get your socket set and spanners and just start unbolting things and you will discover how it all goes together quickly. A little advice save the bolts in a good spot so you dont lose them. Sorry I cant be of more help but dodge designed these things fairly decent.

The number of bolts depends on if you have a solid or split bench seat. I don't remember the size but I do think you also need to remove the seat belt bolts. They are a torx or star shaped bolt. When you take the seat out, lift up before you pull it out. There are hooks on the back of the seat that slide over "rings" that are attached to the cab wall.

One more thing, some of the bolts go thru the floor and are exposed under the cab. You may need to spray those underneath the cab if they don't want to come out easily.

I have an 08 with a solid seat in the back not split. It was only 4 bolts as for the size I can't remember as I took it out a long time ago. I had a long breaker bar for a couple of them as they were tough to get out but after you get them started the rest comes easy. There is a way to have hte back seat flip down as well.
