Hello everyone. Im new to this forum. Heard it was the best. FYI Bully Dog has broke the code and is coming out with a new chip for the 11-12 hemi. I am testing it now. I will post new info and test results as I get them done. Happy day!

Ran the truck today and it ran real strong. It jumps off the bottom. It really woke the truck up, especially on the bottom end. Ran into a little hiccup though with the download. Be back at bd and get it fixed. We r going to like this when all the kinks are out!

I will believe it when its in my hands, still nothing at BD about this 2012 Tuner being available, you come on saying you have it, your testing, but you don't have it its at BD getting fixed, nothing more than it woke up the truck? Need more than that.

This might be a dumb question but is there a difference between a programmer vs a chip?

Chips are nothing more than a paperweight for new model cars... If you want to buy one I know a good snake oil salesman I can introduce you too lol...

Chips were used in old cars before advanced ECU's were introduced...

Programmers are used to rewrite the information in your trucks ECU and your Transmission ECU that way it can be told to perform in a certain way (shift points, Air to fuel mixtures etc...)

This is just a basic run down LOTS more technical stuff to talk about if you have the time and a few beers lol....

Just got out of a Camaro so this is right up my alley really looking forward to being able to tinker with the computer as it makes a world of difference in performance... I wonder if EFI LIVE or HP tuners will ever get involved with our computers?
