I have had a trinity installed in my truck for 1.5 years now. The truck has 105,000km on it. I remove it when I have the truck serviced and also use it to change tire size when switching summer tires to winter. Last time was about 1.5 months ago. I got in the truck yesterday and when I first hit the brakes the pedal went to the floor and my ESP/BAS light came on and stayed on. After pumping the pedal I got some brake pressure and headed to the dealer. I tried to un-install the Trinity but it read unable to install original back-up PCM locked.
Dealer spent 1.5 hours on the truck and determined that the computor "lost" the tires. In the end the truck was fixed at no charge.
They indicated the Trinity may have been the reason the computor "lost" the tires. What do you think? Seems strange that it hadn't happened before. Also now that the dealer has worked on the truck would it be back to original settings or will the Trinity still be installed? Is there a way to tell?
