Ever notice how on some forums, people post good unbiased information that might just help others and the vultures swoop in and just piss all over everything?? Thats why alot of these forums suck......You should take the time to read ALL my posts and tell me I don't contribute.....If I were to read yours, I wonder what I would find????? Cheers....

One of their truck of the year brochures stated the 2013 Ram Sport had an 8 speed tranny (only option). Mine does not. Also it says in another brochure dual exhaust. Mine does not. They said all the exhaust were the same. The GM said to go pick out the truck I wanted and we would swap. There, of course, were no 8 speeds on the lot. They indicated they would call me when one arrived. Yea, we will see.....What ever happens, I still love this truck!!! The LED lighting on the interior is my favorite part!!!

That is awesome ha

But I do agree, should have done your research before your purchase. Thats why there are these things called "forums" which are somewhere on the net I think??

When it comes to some things, you can't be too picky. Remember you can always make it your own all depends what you want to spend.

Its my understanding the 8 speed is a rotary knob just like the 4x4 knob on the dash. Also, the 6 speed vs. 8 speed tow capacity is the same. fyi...

Marketing sucks. They call it dual exhaust and most people see two tail pipes and and they keep it moving. Then someone that know what they are looking at realize it's not true duals. Do you want to be really pissed? Take a look at the factory Y. They crush both pipes down to half their size and jam them into one pipe. Most guys here get the Magnaflow Y and are real happy.

Nobody ever called it "true dual exhaust", it's for looks.

When I was looking at trucks when I bought mine way back when, I looked under and noticed it was a dual/single/dual and not a true dual. I believe it was mentioned in the 2009 brochure that it was not a true dual exhaust, or it is possible I may have read it elsewhere.

Mine is one of the earlier builds, Sept. 2008 and has a different muffler that is much louder than later builds and the faux dual out the back has a meaty, healthy sound to it. I liked the way it looked and sounded, it was the best truck out there in 2009 and I couldn't beat the price so the rest was history.

Anyway, was just looking at Fords concept F150 "Atlas" and noticed they adopted a few things Ram already has, one of those was a dual exhaust. Wonder if they are true duals?
