Default Cold air intake

I'm looking to put exhaust and cold air intake on my 2012 5.7 HEMI sport . But I can not get a clear answer about keeping the warranty warranted after installing a cold air intake .does anyone know of a brand of cold air intake that will be aloud by Chrysler ?? Thanks for the help,

Chrysler can not void you warranty due to aftermarket parts unless they can prove that part is what caused the issue

Thanks

How would they know if you put the stock box back on when you go to the dealership?

If you put the stock box back in before going to the dealership they wouldn't be able to tell, however i have had many vehicles into chrysler for warranty work with an aftermarket cold air intake and they have never said anything about it

Thanks
Jeremiah

Putting the OEM setup back on every dealership visit is a tedious process.

In all the years of surfing and being active on boards of this nature, I've never seen a case of an aftermarket air intake causing any issue where a warranty battle was the result.

To answer the OP's question: I believe Mopar makes an aftermarket air intake that will fall into the category you're concerned about. Many here have it with nothing but praise....for the most part. I believe it's a rebadged air intake from another manufacturer.

Good luck ultimately in your decision.

I was told if you bring your truck in with any engine knock . They will take an oil sample and get it analyzed and some how cold air intakes will leave more oxygen traces in the oil
