The aftermarket would find a way.

All manufacturers build concepts. I don't think this Atlas poses any more of a threat to Ram then the Raptor or the latest iteration of the F-150s or Super Duties.

On-line chatter I've seen so far in other forums, there's as much dislike for the Atlas as there is like.

Meh...I'm not fond of it.
I wasn't really trying to say that this truck was going to kill the Ram line or anything, lol. I understand that it is a concept and the likelihood of a truck that looks anything like it making it to production is very unlikely. That being said, everyone has their own opinions of course but I like the Atlas a lot. I think Ram has the sexiest looking trucks out there right now, however, if the Atlas is an indication of the next F150, I personally think Ford will be closing the gap.

This is a little off-topic but I think OVERALL Chrysler's lineup is playing second string to Ford's right now. IMO the Ram is the best looking truck out there and the Charger, Challenger, and of course the Viper are great looking vehicles but I'm digging Ford's entire lineup.

Yeah, you are right, there is no reason it can't go into production with 37's and it very well may but I find it very, very unlikely. Especially considering Ford can only muster 34" tires on their top of the line off-road truck.

I love the grille and tailgate, but both front and rear lights are hideous, though the fronts have a lot of potential with a little reworking and modification. I also really don't get the indentation in the cab roof, unless you're moving a ladder or kayak, things are going to be wider than that... and you're still going to scratch the paint.

I agree that the rear lights ain't hittin' on much. I do like the overall shape and design of the headlights but they need to make them more "normal" and do away with the rectangular fog light looking things that seem to be a part of the headlights. I was also wondering about the roof. Maybe I didn't look close enough but I was thinking it might have been some type of sunroof.

It actually looks ok. I hate the newer F series body styling, this looks better. It almost looks like a cross between a F series and a ram. The cab/doors look like a ram.

This one is a tough call...I can't decide if its god awful ugly or a badass looking truck.

I like the rigid look of it but I HATE that massive grille. The headlights don't look that bad to me. I'd be surprised if it actually went into production. How many impractical trucks are they going to make? Sure the raptor and atlas are sweet but what good are they in the real world?

Concepts are always funny - Dodge has been the closest with the Prowler. I saw the Avalanche concept when it was on tour - I would have bought one in a heartbeat - Once they built it, it was nothing compared to the concept.

Best era (appearance-wise IMO) of Fords...
