Default Ball Joint Question - 2003 4x4

I have a 2003 RAM 4x4. The upper left (driver side) ball joint is in need of replacement. Is the upper ball joint on this model of truck an assembly which include the A-frame arms back to the bushings?
How difficult of a job is it to replace the upper joint assembly? Should I replace the lower as well?

Yes, you replace the arm as an assembly and it's not difficult if you have the correct tools. I wouldn't replace the lower unless it needs it. Don't forget to have an alignment done when you're finished.

I just got done doing my uppers/lowers and tie rod ends on my truck. Upper is WAY easier then lower. If you don't need to replace lower I wouldn't. I'm not a mechanic and I was able to do it. A member on here gave me so much info on how to do that it was a breeze, till I got to lowers lol
