Default Chrome/Clear LED Tail Lights

If anyone has these chrome/clear cover LED tail lights on a silver ram, please post pictures. I'm trying to imagine how it would look. I'm also considering the red cover LED tail light!

I dont have them so I can post pics, but seeing that you have a silver truck, either of them would probably look damn good!

Spyder lights look cool but they don't have great notability while being used. Brake lights won't shine as bright at night and spyder headlights won't go as far at night.

they look good... but for being used when they're needed they aren't very good.

A few people on here have those tails tinted with color matched paint and have no complaints about the light output.

I've decided to wait and purchase the 2013 Projector Headlights and the 2013 LED Tail Lights. Since my 2012 Ram was manufactured after July 2012, the parts will fit - confirmed at the dealership yesterday. They aren't available to order yet, but I'll wait.

I like the LED tails, did the dealer say anything about them affecting the bulb out feature on the truck or are they a straight swapout?

Do you mind doing me a favor and checking your headlight connector? I personally would love to know how your dealership is able to confirm fitment for your truck when they can't even order the parts yet! I think you've been told wrong.

The 2013 projector headlights use ONE connector and it looks like this. If you currently have quad headlamps then you don't have the right connectors for a plug n play swap. Quad headlights use two connectors.

Forgive me for coming across as negative but I don't want you to throw down the money for all this and the dealership turns out to be wrong and you will end up having to cut/splicing into your stock wiring harness if you still wanted to make them work.

I am 99% sure you will need some sort of load resistor if you do the 2013 tail swap. When I did the 2013 projector switch out I had the hyperflash issue until I put in some resistors. I don't see why it would be any different for the tails since all the voltages are controlled by the TIPM in 2013 as well.
