Question Good Shops in Edmonton?

Hey there. I live in Edmonton, and have had my 2013 Ram Sport for a few weeks now. Just wondering where in Edmonton some other guys have gone for work on their trucks. I've already hit up ABC Muffler for my 14" Magnaflow. Kinda starting to look around for a good place to purchase a 2" leveling kit and get it installed...all at a good price obviously. The dealer quoted me at approx $590 all-in. Anyone have any experiences in Edmonton? Let me know. Thanks!

If you're mechanically inclined a 2" level is a breeze to do in your driveway if you have a few hours on the weekend. The only shops that I really know in Edmonton are the expensive diesel shops or just plain ol' parts stores.

Problem is that I'm definitely not mechanically inclined...and especially not with things like this. I have heard of guys installing them on their own, but I certainly would not be confident in my ability to do any of it on my own.

Same here with the shops...I know the expensive diesel shops (I went to them when I had my diesel), but there doesn't seem to be any good truck shops around town.

If anyone knows of one, or finds one...let me know!

I'll ask around with the guys in my car club, several have GCSRT8s that get work done regularly and if their shop does good work on an GCSRT8 then you can bet they'll handle a level just fine.

Sounds good. I've just heard horror stories about just going to a random shop. Like "Whoops we forgot to reconnect your tie rods when we worked on your steering". Or "Whoops we didn't tighten your tires properly, please drive back to us and we'll fix it". Like really simple stuff that dumb employers and employees don't even care to bother doing.

Alright, I hear about Park Muffler or Extreme Team Customs from one of the guys. It's a place to start at least. A level kit won't run you too much, just be sure what ever shop you go to will do an alignment afterwards to ensure everything's squared away.

I'll take a look at Extreme Team Customs. At least take a look online. And yeah...alignment...some shop wanted to charge me over $200 just for the alignment afterwards lol

For a mechanic shop go and see Chris @ All Care Automotive, the guys over at MOPAC recommend him for alot of their work.

The guys over at Raven west send 95% of their lift and level kit jobs over to Kal Tire westend. I was looking for a level for my 2011 but am going to wait till spring.

I got my lift done at Trucks Plus Auto in Edmonton. Good guys to deal with.

Give Jerry a call at the South side location. He will take care of you. There number is 780-465-6001.
